The 56-year-old manager, who oversaw back-to-back promotions at the Welsh side, suggested that the Red Dragons have set fixed values for certain players, however, if they exceed those limits, the club would move to alternative options as they do not have 'endless money' at their disposal.

The Ryan Reynolds & Rob McElhenney-owned team recently announced their retained list for 2024, which revealed who will be heading out of SToK Racecourse and where new contracts have been offered. The Welsh outfit will once again be restricted to a 22-man squad for the English third division.
WHAT PHIL PARKINSON SAID
Speaking to the , Parkinson said: "For all the players we've signed, there's a lot of stories of ones we haven't signed and got close to. We have a value on players we go for and if it goes above that, we just move away from it and I think that's important because there isn't endless pot of money, we are working towards a budget, we try and sign the players who offer us value going forward and I feel we've done that really well over the last few years, we've built a squad of players a lot who can carry on the journey with us. We're not going to pay over the odds for players. We have our own valuation system and we'll work towards that."
