Neymar is not expected back in action until August 2024. Brazil's team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar has confirmed the forward will miss next summer's Copa America tournament and has warned against rushing back from such a serious injury. Neymar joined Saudi side Al-Hilal in the summer but has only managed five appearances for his new club so far.
WHAT NEXT FOR NEYMAR
Neymar will now continue his rehabilitation but faces another long spell out of the game. The Brazilian has already claimed his current injury is "the worst" after being plagued by physical issues throughout his career. He will now aim to make his latest comeback with Al-Hilal in August 2024, providing his recovery goes to plan.
