The veteran Brazilian defender, who left Chelsea at the end of the 2023/24 season as a free agent, returned to the club on Wednesday and caught up with his ex-team-mates. He shared photographs on social media from his Cobham visit where he can be seen sharing a light moment with the current Blues stars.

On Instagram, Silva shared the photographs and wrote in the caption: "Great to be back with the boys! Always good to see my @chelseafc family."

After moving out of Stamford Bridge, the 40-year-old returned to his homeland and signed a two-year deal with top-division Brazilian club Fluminense. Silva appeared in 20 matches across all competitions including 15 in the Brazilian league as Fluminense escaped relegation on the last day after beating Palmeiras 1-0. Earlier in September, the ex-Brazil international had returned to the Premier League club to meet his old mates.
