It looks as if Ronald Koeman’s days are numbered at Everton after yet another defeat in the Europa League means the Toffees have collected just one point from their opening three games in the competition.
From the very first minute, Everton looked disjointed, uninterested and frankly unmoved. Lyon took an early lead thanks to a Nabil Fekir penalty.
And while Ashley Williams equalizer handed the Toffees some hope of a revival, this was cut short just minutes later when former Chelsea man Bertrand Traore netted what proved to be the winner.

The game was marred by fights between the two teams, angry fans swinging at opposition players, Ashley Williams narrowly avoiding a red card and some pretty embarrassing defending from the home side.
Following the performance and defeat, Everton fans took to Twitter to express their anger and demand for Ronald Koeman to be sacked as soon as possible…
