Sane reflected on Musiala’s unfortunate injury, expressing deep heartbreak upon learning the full extent of the 22-year-old’s setback. He showed genuine sympathy for his German national team-mate and hoped to see him return to action soon.

The Bayern Munich sensation broke his left fibula in a collision with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma during their quarter-final defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup. The 22-year-old underwent surgery on Monday and will be out of action for at least four to five months.
WHAT LEROY SANE SAID
"I really hope he's fit again soon. Bayern and the national team need him and his moments of genius," Sane told .
"It's so incredibly bitter, I was stunned at first," emphasised Sane. He said he had "written to Musiala directly on WhatsApp, and we also spoke on the phone later.
"He was just on his way back to being 100 per cent fit, and then this happened. I feel so sorry for him. It's so frustrating."

Sane was recently under contract with Die Roten, joining Turkish giants Galatasaray on July 1 upon the expiry of his contract. As for Musiala, the German international will remain out of action for the foreseeable future. He is expected to return to action in early 2026.
