Normally, hearing that your team are interested in a player who was nominated for your division’s Player of the Year award last season would be a reason for celebration, but as always, Leeds United fans are eternally pessimistic.
The Whites fanbase have seen enough transfer rumours come and go to not get excited by these types of updates, and despite Phil Hay saying that Leeds want Che Adams, a number of individuals are worried about the team’s hopes in the January transfer window.

Many supporters reacted negatively to the journalist’s update on the Whites’ chase of the Southampton man.

United desperately need a striker after Eddie Nketiah’s recall, and some people are worried that they won’t be able to land one if they spend too much time chasing Adams.
Other fans compared this situation to last year’s Daniel James debacle.

In other news, Leeds may want to make a u-turn on one man’s departure after a recent performance.
