With a simple 3-0 win over an out-of-form Lecce, the Old Lady took the lead in the Serie A for the first time this season as Inter Milan have led the league since the first matchday. Vlahovic was immediately compared to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who couldn't achieve the same feat as the Serbian footballer, but the striker quickly played down comparisons.

Vlahovic talked with DAZN about comparisons with Ronaldo [via CalcioNews24]: "Let’s not overdo it, I’m happy because I helped the team. I wouldn’t have done my brace without the team. I thank my comrades, let’s continue like this."
On nervousness playing for Juve: "I am always calm. In the field, you can see emotions, but it is not that things disturb me. We managed to win against a tough opponent, on a tough field where they had not lost for some time. An important victory for us and the team, especially because we did not concede a goal."
On change in rhythm: "I’m physically well, it’s simple. I work as usual, I take care of my body. I sleep well, I eat well and I train well, the difference with the past season is that I’m fine and I don’t have problems."

The win has now propelled the under-pressure Juventus into first place in the league, partly due to their title rivals, Inter Milan, playing in the Supercoppa Italiana. The Bianconeri have now played one extra game over the Nerazzurri and sit one point ahead on top of the table.
WHAT NEXT FOR VLAHOVIC?
The Serbian striker will be in action next up when the Old Lady take on Empoli on Saturday, January 27 as they will look to keep their position at the top of the table.
